Although she had already had some success on British television, it wasn’t until Sasha Behar landed the role of villain Maya Sharma on the long-running popular soap Coronation Street that things took off for the actress. Her more than 120 episodes from 2003-2004 on the show won her multiple awards and made her a very well-known pop culture figure in the UK. Before that, though, she made a skinematic moment as Stevie Goode in the series North Square in 2000, where she was more than good, she was great when she pulled back from an intimate kiss to let audiences revel in her marvelous mams. While Sasha has only appeared in one big-screen movie, it was a good one; she had a bit part as the bomber’s wife in Incendiary (2008), starring Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor. Other than that, it’s been all TV for the sexy siren, all the time. Some of her more prominent parts include Emma Peters on Rescue Me in 2002; Salma Al Fulani in the mini-series Messiah: The Rapture (2008); Laing in The Shadow Line (2011), another mini-series; Natalie Chandra in a third mini-series, Injustice (2011); Iman Zubedah, aka Mahmood, in the regular series Strike Back from 2010-2011; in Holby City in 2012 as Alex Broadhurst; playing Seer in Da Vinci’s Demons from 2014-2015; starring in Modusin 2017 as Raja Cooper; reprising her role as Ms. Broadhurst in Casualty in 2018; and playing Jamila Faruk in the series Unforgotten in 2018. Mr. Skin sure isn’t about to forget this hottie honey!
