Sexy Brazilian Sandra Bréa may have been one of the hottest sexports South of the Border in the ‘70s, but she’s remembered less for her sexy ways and more as the first South American female celebrity to contract HIV. Her career began in the late ‘60s on her local boob tube, but it was onscreen that her natural talents bloomed. In the comedy Amada Amante (1978), Sandra’s naked form is peeped on for the first time. Then in the drama Herança dos Devassos (1979), Sandra touched herself, which will make viewers want to do the same. By the ‘80s she was back on TV and stayed there on numerous soap operas. It was in the early ‘90s that she was diagnosed HIV-positive and became a vocal and visible advocate for AIDS awareness. Sandra died on May 4, 2000, a day that will forever live in infamy at Skin Central.
