The Mexican series Rebelde is a 2022 reboot of the popular Mexican telenovela of the same name from 2004—which technically began life as an Argentinian show two years earlier. The series debuted on Netflix in the first week of 2022, giving audiences thirsty for a show about horny Mexican teens the fix they crave! The series is set at the prestigious (fictional) Mexican performing arts boarding school Elite Way, where students from all across the socio-economic spectrum come together for plenty of drama, backstabbing, petty intrigue, and a palpable sexual tension one could cut with a knife! Tying this new version to the 2004 original is Estefania Villarreal's Celina Ferrer, a former student at Elite Way who becomes the school's new director. The student body she oversees includes hot young couple Jana (Azul Guaita) and Esteban (Sergio Mayer Mori), the ambitious M.J. (Andrea Chaparro) who dreams of forming a kick ass rock band, honor student and closeted lesbian Emilia (Giovanna Grigio), perennial troublemaker Luka (Franco Masini), and the obligatory new kid in town Sebastian (Alejandro Puente). Together, this band of misfits will contend with a secret society known as The Lodge, whose members have sought to sabotage ambitious Elite Way students going all the way back to Celina's days as a coed. While not as skinsational as we were hoping, the show's first season did deliver some terrific T'n'A from Azul Guaita in a steamy sex scene, along with some lusty lesbian action between Giovanna Grigio and a bethonged Lizeth Selene! These sexy Mexican teens will have you reaching your hand below your Rebelde!
