Rainbow (2022)

This ain’t your mother’s Wizard of Oz, that’s for sure! This contemporary take on the L. Frank Baum story hails from Spain and stars actress/singer Dora Postigo in the Dorothy role. In this version, Dora is an aspiring musician who leaves home after a fight with her father and heads for the Ciudad Capital (Capital City) with her dog Toto to search for her mother. Like the original, it’s vibrantly colorful and chock full of music, but the biggest difference is that we never saw Judy Garland in a hot pink bikini top or saw her nips poking out through her top. And seeing Dora’s badonkadonk hanging out of her tight, wet undies is definitely an update. Maybe this is what the story needed all along!
