Preparations to Be Together for an Unknown Period of Time (2020)

For celebrated neurosurgeon, Marta (Natasa Stork), coming back to her hometown of Budapest, Hungary is for one reason only, love.  She's spent her entire career in the US, but she's decided that the dreamboat doctor she met at a conference in the states is worth following back to her roots on the off chance of true love. The only problem is when she comes up to her former lover to greet him, he doesn't seem to know who she is and says they have never met.  Is Marta imagining a love affair that has never taken place and is she losing her mind, or is she creating a vivid fantasy world through her loneliness?  Another option would be that this man is in fact playing games with her and gaslighting her along the way so that he will never be close to her.  While we follow a more poetic and internalized version of deception between two people, we also as the audience aren't too sure who is telling the truth as Marta seems to be in a romance-by-gaslight type of relationship, but we're never quite sure if anyone knows who she is at all.  Buckle up for some psychological twists and turns as the lovely Marta bounces between reality, fantasy, uncertainty between the two, and some steamy sex with her hunky hospital conference hook-up.  Lucky for us, the stunning Natasa Stork makes her Nude-Comer debut as the lead actress in this wordy suspense flick and you better pack some tissues and lotion because we're not sure about the Preparations to Be Together for an Unknown Period of Time.
