Nemesis (2024)

Based on the novel of the same name by Dutch writer Simon de Waal, this crime drama series follows public prosecutor Sylvia van Maele (Lies Visschedijk) and detective Lars van Deumen (Romana Vrede) as they investigate an online gambling platform. Just as Lars is about to execute a warrant to raid the company’s offices, two other lawyers, including a colleague of Sylvia’s named Sabine de Wolff (Mara van Vlijmen), show up to stop them and Sylvia’s boss - and ex - Ed Koppers (Peter Blok) informs her that the raid is off. Apparently “the good guys” (aka government) own the company and now Ed wants to transfer Sylvia to another division. That’s not suspicious at all! Sabine is about ready to crack and starts slipping info to Sylvia about all the nefarious goings-on involving a man named Martin Heezinik (Chris Peters), so of course, she ends up dead. The only choice left is to team up with a knowledgeable podcast host named Nina (Jade Olieberg) and a financial criminal under house arrest named Faber Metekohij (Mustafa Duygulu) to uncover the truth about the case. Keep your eyes peeled in the second episode for nude newbie Anna Joan, who disrupts a scene with her topless tatas and words of protest written across her naked torso.
