The Perfect Lie (2026)

Based on the bestselling novel by Saskia Noort, the Dutch Netflix series De Eetclub (which actually translates to The Dinner Club) centers on Karen (Loes Haverkort), who has just relocated with her husband Michel (Teun Luijkx) and daughter to the wealthy suburb of Bergen in the Netherlands. She’s welcomed in by a group of affluent friends - Patricia (Charlie Chan Dagelet), Hanneke (Rifka Lodeizen), and Babette (Noortje Herlaar) - who gather regularly with their partners to eat, drink, and socialize, but then their seemingly perfect lives are shattered when a fire breaks out at Babette’s house and her husband, Evert (Edwin Jonker), is killed. Slowly, Karen begins to realize that everyone in this friend group is hiding something, and perhaps this recent tragedy is actually the result of a tenuous mess of secrets and lies. The series kicks off with Karen getting initiated into the dinner club in the best way - with nudity! The gals demonstrate what a fun bunch they are by stripping down and jumping into a pool, though Loes settles for swimming in her tank top and undies. Don’t worry, she gets plenty nude later, baring boobs and buns across several scenes capturing her steamy affair with Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen’s Simon (Patricia’s husband). In addition to the Episode One skinny-dipping, Rifka goes for a topless swim in Episode Two, and Charlie takes out her tush after a towel drop in Episode Seven.
