Monika Ringwald first ventured into the warm glow of the limelight as a nude model in British magazines like Witchcraft shortly after abandoning her native Germany. In 1968, she made her cinematic debut in The Touchables but it would prove to pale in comparison to her later, more Skinful pictures…After a few less-than-notable bit parts in sex romp movies such as Confessions of a Window Cleaner and Secrets of a Door-to-Door Salesman, Monika finally found her true niche in British Sexploitation features like Sexplorer and Erotic Inferno. Roles like those most often featured Monika (and her full, finer features) in some state of undress or another but nothing would compare to her turn in 1976’s Intimate Games. First of all, no fewer than eight buxom babes show off every inch of their incredible, naked bodies in this super Skinophilic flick. Monika, of course, is included in that bewildering figure and trust us, her figure bewilders… She may only appear as “Secretary” in the opening moments of the flick but her full-frontal appearance sets the tone for the rest of the film, which as far as we can tell is about women who all share the same disdain for clothing. (Now that’s a plotline we can really get behind!) Unfortunately, Monika’s career went on an extended hiatus following her role in 1977’s What’s Up Nurse! and she hasn’t been seen on the highly accurate, Skin Central SkinOscope since.
