It’s nice to be a director. Ask Hal Hartley, who directed Japanese actress Miho Nikaido in Flirt (1995) and then asked the beautiful Asian to live with him. He even married her. He also filmed her wrapped in plastic for the Flirt, with one of her bare breasts escaping the costume to make a splash on the big screen all by itself. Not the first time Miho appeared naked on screen, that honor would go to the NC-17-rated movie Tokyo Decadence, original title Topâzu (1992). Shot in New York City in both Japanese and English, Miho plays submissive hooker Ai, and we see her in any number of compromising positions, often naked, and often cuffed or tied.
