“I have a provocative image in Israel,” purrs Hebrew honey Meital Dohan. And she’s been hard at work planting the seeds to cultivate a similar reputation Stateside. Born and raised in a tiny village in her native country, Dohan was bitten by the acting bug (lucky bug!) in her early teens. By the time she graduated from the prestigious Nissan Nativ drama school in 1998, she was already an award-winning theater actress, and she easily made the jump to writing, directing, and comedy, as well as acting in movies and on the boob tube. This Israeli eyeful first took her delectable dreidels for an onscreen spin in 2002 with her Israeli Academy Award-nominated role in God’s Sandbox, in which she showed audiences her dandy box--along with everything else! Meital’s first American role was a guest spot on The Sopranos, but she’s best known around these parts for her role as a randy rabbinical-school worker on the Showtime series Weeds. This gorgeous gal graciously opened her shirt to dole out her Hanukkah gelt once again, showing audiences that weed isn’t the only thing that’ll get you high . . . where it counts!
