Across the pond, it’s not uncommon for English actresses to hop from intense dramas to light comedies with the slightest of ease. Indeed, these versatile creatures seem to reveal their range as much as their skin since British beauties aren’t typically afraid to flash their flesh onscreen. And so goes the varied career of Matilda Ziegler. She’s best known in the States for playing Irma Gobb (the goofy girlfriend to Rowan Atkinson’s Mr. Bean) in the live action and animated comedy series Mr. Bean (1990-1992; 2002-2016) as well as the humorous holiday special The Merry Mishaps of Mr. Bean (1992). Yet UK audiences will recognize her as the ill-fated Donna Ludlow from the BBC soap opera EastEnders (1987-1989) and Pearl Pratt from the costume drama Lark Rise to Candleford (2006-2010). Since then, Matilda popped up in the action flick The Rhythm Section (2020) starring Blake Lively and Jude Law. But, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to her part on the British sitcom Too Much Sun (2000). As a shapely shop worker, the boob tube babe opens her uniform to reveal her white brassiere and panties during a fantasy sequence. Instead of Too Much Sun, we would have preferred a full moon! Still, Matilda’s bra-clad rack will heighten the audience’s interest — among other things! Whether on stage (Twelfth Night), on the radio (P. G. Wodehouse’s Meet Mr Mulliner), on film (Decadence) or on TV (Sex Traffic, Death in Paradise, Call the Midwife), Ms. Ziegler could very well tempt your wiggler!
