Mara Modair was only in one movie. That movie involved blood. We’re usually partial to blood sausage, but otherwise blood is not our favorite bodily fluid. However, on-screen blood and naked babes tend to go together, so we’ve had to come to turns with our feelings about the spilling life force and reevaluate our judgement. Mara in Blood Voyage (1976) helped. She plays Carol in this horror flick about a pleasure cruise that becomes a nightmare after a series of murders takes the ship off course. Who is the killer? Things get ugly and paranoid, but at least Mara offers a skinful repute from the terror.
