We’re introduced to suburban mom Kristin (Toni Collette) who has a son heading off to college, a cheating man-child of a husband, and a job working at a pharmaceutical company under a sexist boss. One day she gets a call from Italian beauty Monica Bellucci, who informs her that her grandfather has died and Kristin, his only grandchild, must come to Italy to settle his affairs. She arrives to discover that his last wish was that she take over as head mafiaso of his notorious crime family. Kristin then spends the rest of the movie attempting to legitimize the business, using the moves she learned in her krav maga class to defend herself, and lusting after a pasta-making cabbie (Giulio Corso). Both Toni and Monica’s captivating cleavage is on display throughtout the film, whether stomping some grapes or being poisoned by rival dons. There’s even a scene with the two ladies drinking wine and spooning on an outdoor bed. It’s our favorite take on “go to the mattresses” by far!
