She's tall, tan, young and lovely. She's definitely THE girl from Ipanema because her name is Linda Ipanema. Sure, she is not actually from Ipanema, but she is so beautiful that she is worthy of being sung about. This lovely lady who also went by the name Ginny Franc only acted in a handful of movies in the 1980s. Sure, she did not have an extensive career, but the career that gave us delivered some seriously sexy performances and for that, we are forever grateful. She began her acting career as Nurse Thompson in the 1984 film Once Upon a Time in America. That is quite a debut film to appear in! Shortly after that, she played Cooky in the 1984 indie film The Pope of Greenwich Village and she ended her career in 1988 by playing Mary Lawrence in the horror flick The Undertaker. Her best work was in the 1985 comedy Delivery Boys where she played a sexy statue in an artsy party scene. She and other people at the party are playing living statues, by which we mean that they are painted in white and gray bodypaint and are mostly naked. Linda is, anyway! Linda poses like a statue, proudly showing off her mounds and her perky peach as she holds an apple like the Biblical Eve. Oh, to be a snake in that room and slither in her grass. That's Linda!
