Lovely Linda Gray is best known as Sue Ellen on the CBS mega hit Dallas (1978-1989). The racy role made her a boob tube star—nabbing Golden Globe and Emmy nominations as well as TV Land’s Pop Culture Award. Yet Linda’s success isn’t limited to television. Throughout her career, the model-turned-actress also performed on stage and in film. She got her start with a small part in the sex comedy Under the Yum Yum Tree (1963). We woulda loved to have been in the cinema sitting under her yum yums, even if they remained beneath her shirt per the Hays Code era. Despite TV Network censors, the hottie still sizzled on the small screen as Hillary Michaels on the primetime soap Melrose Place (1994) and then its spinoff series Models Inc. (1994-1995). Linda then reprised the role of Sue Ellen in Dallas: J.R. Returns (1996), Dallas: War of the Ewings (1998), and on TNT’s Dallas (2012-2014). In between, the bold beauty took on the daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful (2004-2005). She then focused her energy on theatrical productions (Terms of Endearment, The Vagina Monologues, Agnes of God) at home and abroad. In 2003, Ms. Gray portrayed the infamous Mrs. Robinson in the stage adaptation of The Graduate (1967). But unlike the screen version, her character was fully nude! We’re talking bare breasts and bush—opposed to just the gams Anne Bancroft supposedly flashed in the movie’s publicity poster which actually belonged to Linda when she was a model. Now that’s skinchronicity!
