She was going to be a professional dancer, but fans of hot Canadians got a big break when North Vancouver's Leah Cairns broke her back and moved to acting, following a backpacking (that must have hurt) trek that reportedly brought her through 36 countries over the course of eight years. After making her screen debut on The Chris Isaak Show, we almost mauled ourselves when we first saw her in the indie The Mall Man (2003). Then we only got more enthralled when she moved up to co-starring with Lorenzo Lamas in Thralls (2004). Leah’s a lethal lovely as she tries to seduce sister Siri Baruc into joining her big-city lifestyle--which mainly consists of the Brides of Dracula getting jobs at Coyote Ugly. Somebody important must’ve picked up that one at the video store, because Leah has since moved on to a steady stream of TV appearances, including concurrent roles in two Canadian productions. Robson Arms (2005) will give you a good pump in the arms, since it has Leah playing a sexy young tenant at an apartment complex who flashes her boobs while throwing on a red bra, while the popular Canadian comedy Godiva’s features her as a waitress whom we’d love to have serve us. What can we say, we're not afraid to flaunt our passion for beautiful women! Neither of these can compare to her work alongside Al Pacino in 88 Minutes (2007) though. You won't last 88 seconds seeing Leah's pointy and perky nips when she takes off her robe, or getting a glimpse at her (Al Pacino voice and hand motions) great ass! when she wears nothing under and apron: a tidy bow presenting her rump roast like a present for us all. But Leah really broke out as Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson on Battlestar Galactica, leading to her making a run on sci-fi with appearances in the kid without a belly button drama Kyle XY, Sanctuary, The Tomorrow People, and playing Casey Affleck's wife in Interstellar (2014). Colin Hanks is a peeping Tom (not that his dad Tom would ever) when she disrobes to a bra and panties on an episode of Fargo, hitting the red flag on taking off any more, much to our dismay. More sci-fi fare continued with her starring role on Travelers, before Leah appeared in episodes of Supernatural and Bates Motel. Hopefully she returns to doing on screen nudity sometime soon. We'd love to have some carnal knowledge about Leah Cairns.
