Getting her start in the heyday of nudie films, Kathleen Kane’s first film role was as the character Astrid in Six Swedes on a Campus (1979). She starts off her film career with an amazing amount of nudity, offering both boobs and bush while rolling around solo in bed. After about a decade away from the film world, she returned for bit parts in the independent films Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders (1990) and Troma’s Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. (1990). Her steadiest amount of acting work came throughout the 1990s. She was involved in independent as well as mainstream movies of all stripes, including popular ones like The Crow (1995) and The People vs. Larry Flint (1996), while staying true to her Troma roots with features like Class of Nuke ‘Em High 3: The Good, the bad and the Subhumanoid (1994).
