Katharina Eckerfeld was born in Germany, and has been brightening up the boob tube since making her debut guest starring on the TV series Doppelter Einsatz, a crime series about two female detectives of the Hamburg police. That lead to her feature debut in the romantic comedy Trial by Fire (1998), about a milksop left by his girlfriend and searching for a new gal, when he meets a mike messenger and tries to impress her.
