For those not closely following South Korean film and television, it may seem like Jung Woon-sun appeared on the scene in a puff of smoke in 2023 thanks to the Netflix series Daily Dose of Sunshine, but fans of the actress know she’s had a few notable roles since her initial theatre work with Ace Factory. She’s been working steadily on the stage for almost two decades, playing lead roles like Emily in Our Town and Nora in A Doll’s House, though she did appear in a few feature films as early as 2002. Lately though she’s been nabbing roles on the small screen, playing Shin So-Yoon on the fantasy horror series Happiness (2021) and Oh Hae Soo on the thriller mini series Lies Hidden in My Garden (2023). K-drama’s aren’t really known for having much nudity, so it was quite the pleasant surprise to catch a brief hint of Jung Woon-Sun’s bare butt as a psychiatric patient on Daily Dose of Sunshine, but we’re glad to have caught it, and - call us, crazy - we want to see more!
