Julia

Julia was a pretty successful early sitcom that originally aired from 1968 to 1971. It marked the first regular television role of the former screen- and stage-actress Diahann Carroll, whose portrayal of the title character earned her 1969’s Golden Globe for Best TV Star – Female. The story centred on the working woman Julia Baker whose husband gets killed in Vietnam. Together with her young son Corey (Marc Copage), Julia subsequently moves to Los Angeles where she quickly gets a job as a nurse in the clinic of Astrospace Industries.  In the process of working there she becomes friends with fellow nurse Hannah Yarby (Lurene Tuttle) and later falls in love with Paul Cameron (Paul Winfield). Nudity? None. Leading lady Diahann Carroll’s only nude scene ever can be found in the 1974 flick Claudine, which features the African-American taking a bubble bath. However, since there aren’t enough bubbles to cover Diahann’s well-rounded breasts we are treated with several little nipple peeks.
