The very prolific Toronto-based actress, director, producer, and teacher Janet-Laine Green makes sure to surround herself with creative people. Her son, Tyrone Savage acted on TV shows like Goosebumps and Redwall. Her husband, Booth Savage is also a veteran actor and writer. Janet, herself, has been active in TV and movie acting since the early 1980s and has consistently stayed busy ever since. Her earliest role in the movie Love (1982) is the source of her only bit of screen nudity. In one scene you can catch her with her jugs out while standing and then in bed with a dude, all while rocking a cool looking 80s hairdo. Most recently she’s been working on TV movies and series like Stand By Your Booth (2012) and Murdoch Mysteries. She has been nominated for three Gemini Awards and two Genie Awards for her performances throughout the years, and has a Lifetime Achievement Award named after her.
