Huda's Salon (2022)

Hany Abu-Assad, the Palestinian filmmaker behind the Oscar nominated film Paradise Now (2005) and his latest film Huda's Salon (2021) deals with the plight of several women living in Bethlehem under repressive husbands and an even more repressive government. Set at the titular salon in a makeshift storefront, the film focuses on hairdresser Huda (Manal Awad) and her only customer, a woman named Reem (Maisa Abd Elhadi). Huda is secretly conspiring to supply information to the Israeli army which she hopes will bring her and her friend Reem some solace from their husbands, both of whom are actively plotting against the Israelis. Yeah, it's not the sexiest movie ever made, that's for sure, but there is an unbelievably sexy scene where Maisa Abd Elhadi goes phenomenally full frontal to shoot some blackmail photos! This Salon might just give you a blow out!
