We all know the story of Watergate, the scandal that brought down the Nixon presidency, but the Starz miniseries Gaslit—which debuted on the premium cable channel in the spring of 2022—seeks to tell the story from the perspective of several people whose involvement in the case is often ignored by history. Martha Mitchell (Julia Roberts), wife of Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell (Sean Penn, in garish prosthetics), becomes the first person associated with Nixon's inner circle to blow the whistle on the president's involvement in the scandal. The series takes its title from the campaign waged against her by the Nixon campaign and, ultimately, her own husband to discredit her and even go so far as to make her think that she's imagining things. The show kicks off with a skinsational scene where John Dean (Dan Stevens) is seen with his mistress, played by a completely nude Allie Marie Evans. They have a lengthy conversation that will give you plenty of length when you get a load of Allie's amazing T'n'A!
