Fragrant flower Flore Fitzgerald wandered in and out of the world of French cinema between 1977 and 1992, but only one of her destinations required a decent dose of doo-dad divulgence. After debuting in Des enfants gâtés (1977) and a sophomore gig in La Frisée aux lardoons (1979), Flore was ready to give up the globes. It was in Une Semaine de vacances (1980), a.k.a. A Week’s Holiday, that the firm and fine femme Fitzgerald unhooked her bra and offered some fine French pastries. (And wouldn’t we love to take a week’s holiday with this impressive import!) Le Garde du corps (1984) and Une maman dans la ville (1992) complete Flore’s infrequent filmography, but she definitely reached her peak in Une Semaine de vacances.
