Fantastic Max

Proof positive that you can make it as a writer without actually having any good ideas for a show, this series is about a 16-month-old toddler named Max who accidentally climbs aboard a space ship and goes into outer space. When he comes back he brings home an alien friend named FX and a robot babysitter named A.B. And of course, you can’t have a kids show without a silly catchphrase that’s yelled six times an episode – Fantastic Max’s catchphrase is to yell "Dirty Diapers!" Which is very gross. Nancy Cartwright, famously the voice of Bart Simpson and less famously the voice of FX the alien, once got naked for the camera in 1985’s Flesh and Blood. You can’t see much but its reason enough for us to review every single TV show she’s ever been in, just in case she pulls out the puppies again. Tough work, this.
