Biography

You need to know about Diane Cilento. The late, great actress had an expansive career in film and television, making dozens of appearances between the 1950s and 1990s. Diane sported the quintessential blonde bombshell looks of a bygone era, with a boner-inducing hourglass figure and gorgeous face. While the hottie got her start in her native country of Australia, she had no trouble making it big in America, and was even nominated for an Academy Award for Tom Jones (1963). Oh, and did we mention that she was married to Sean Connery? Even the best life can't be all sunshine and roses... The girl who had it all (including an abusive husband) bared it all in the drama Stop Me Before I Kill (1960). The movie saw Diane at her peak, and we get an amazing glimpse of the actress coming out of the ocean topless! More like Stop Me Before I Spill! That's the only skindeavor of Diane's career. She finished out the '60s in shows like Espionage, Festival, ITV Play of the Week, Blackmail, Thirty-Minute Theatre, and Late Night Horror and movies like The Third Secret (1964), Rattle of a Simple Man (1964), The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965), Hombre (1967), and Negatives (1968). She slowed her roll in the '70s but still managed to appear in the provocative pictures Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973) and The Wicker Man (1973). Following four '80s projects, Diane made her final acting appearance in the 1993-1994 series Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left. In 2011, she left this world for good. We miss caliento Ms. Cilento.
