Demonlover (2002)

Demonlover (2002) isn't a tale about a Satanic seducer (à la Demon Rage/Satan's Mistress [1981]), but there are nevertheless many evil people running about in this sordid, cyber S&M flick about competing corporate porn media moguls from America, France and Japan duking it out to see who ends up on top. In the film, Connie Nielsen plays Diane, a cuthroat executive who drugs her superior, Karen (Dominique Reymond) so that she can be the one to acquire the new, ultra high tech 3D porn technology for France's Volf Corporation. That really pisses off her coworker Herve (Chloë Sevigny), since Herve and Karen were close, even though Diane successfully acquires the rights and reaches out to an American internet company called Demonlover to distribute the goods. Since porn is an oddly female led industry in the movie, it's Elaine (Gina Gershon) who runs Demonlover, but secretly plans to make 3D torture porn using real, abused women behind Diane's back. Diane ends up being a corporate spy for a rival company, but so does Elise, which complicates everything even more. Once the murders begin, things get really messy in this twist filled erotic thriller that has a wild, Tales From the Crypt style ironic twist ending. Until three-dimensional porno actually becomes a thing, viewers will have to settle for video clips of women's nips. Unfortunately, you won't find any of those here, since despite being about the XXX biz, this one's weirdly nudity free. Chloë Sevigny gets naked, but it's while she's lying on her stomach as she plays video games. The mattress hides everything well, so she doesn't show any naughty bits, just a little cleavage but it's enough to get your gamer girlfriend fantasies flowing without having to pay a streamer from Twitch to scratch that itch. In another scene, Connie Nielsen rolls around in a black tank top and white panties, but she's not doing anything erotic, she's having an emotional breakdown. Just put it on mute and check out that booty. The lack of skin in this porno themed flick is the real torture in Demonlover!
