An all-black jazz band struggles for acceptance among British high society on Dancing on the Edge (2013-). In 1930's England, the members of the Louis Lester Band have fled the prohibitive atmosphere of segregated America to try their fortunes in London instead. A favorable review from music journalist Stanley (Matthew Goode) gives the band the boost they need to become the hottest ticket on the aristocratic social scene, but as we all know overnight success is not without its temptations. Chief among these are the jazz baby jugs of co-stars Jenna-Louise Coleman, Joanna Vanderham and Janet Montgomery, although Janet is the only one who shows anything more than sideboob. Dancing on the Edge will put a swing in your step and a jitterbug in your jeans.
