Sometimes the light that burns brightest burns fastest, as is the case with Crystin Sinclaire’s all too brief career. The bubbly blonde babe first appeared in a 1973 episode of Marcus Welby, M.D. But just one year later she went from boob-tube guest star to drive-in chest star with her breast-baring performance in the women-in-prison classic Caged Heat (1974). Crystin struck while the iron was hot and followed up with roles in exploitation gems like Hustler Squad (1976), Eaten Alive (1977), and Ruby (1977). In 1978 she appeared alongside Donny and Marie Osmond in the comedy Goin' Coconuts (1978) before her final role in the made-for-TV movie Portrait of a Stripper (1979). Apparently the prospect of facing the ’80s led this charming racktress into retirement while still in her prime. At least we can be spank-ful for the body of work she left behind.
