While attending Northwestern University as a law student, she led a research group to Cuba for two months to “study the effects of the dual economy on race relations.” So, admire the hot body of Candace Smith all you want (and it is worth admiring)—just remember to admire her brains, too! Elsewhere on the big screen, you can see the star in more mainstream fare, playing Sharice in End of Watch(2012) with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anna Kendrick, as Roxie in The Babymakers (2012) with Olivia Munn, playing Marie Abeanni in Gimme Shelter (2013) with Vanessa Hudgens and Rosario Dawson, and hanging out with David Spade in the Netflix comedy The Wrong Missy (2020), where she played Camille.
