Como si fuera la primera vez roughly translates to As If It Were the First Time and this remake of the 2004 Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore hit, 50 First Dates packs in enough originality that it'll make YOU feel like you have amnesia to the story you've likely already seen.  In this version we depart the beauty of Hawaii and head to the Caribbean, specifically the equally beautiful Dominican Republic.  For Luci (Ximena Romo) each day is the exact same, she wakes up, she goes to her favorite cafe, she goes to work, and she spends time with her family.  The only difference between Luci and everyone else though, is that Luci doesn't remember anything after the accident that completely took away her short term memory!  You see, every time Luci falls asleep, she wakes up thinking it is the day before her accident and nothing bad has happened to her.  She can't make any new memories, so she doesn't stand a chance to make and new friends or more importantly, find anyone to love.  That is until she stumbles across Diego (Vidhir Derbez) and they hit it off and he is convinced he's going to land a second date with someone he could potentially see going long term.  When he discovers her memory issue, instead of running away, he decides that he's going to make an effort into making her remember him even if that means he has to make her fall in love with him everyday!  So he sets off on the task of making her fall back in love with him everyday for as long as he can!  This is definitely an arguably more tame version of the original, but we do get to see Ximena Romo is a cheeky one-piece for our viewing pleasure!
