Anna Mottram has had a very spotty film career. She made her big screen debut in 1975’s The Lifetaker, which she followed up with almost ten years in relative obscurity. She returned to film in 1983’s Xtro, in which she played a very bit part, and was in all of about twenty seconds of footage. After Xtro, Anna disappeared again, this time until 1998, when she was called upon to play an aging prostitute in the Kelly McGillis drama Painted Angels. In it, she appears topless for a brief “love-making” scene with one of the many cowboys that frequented her establishment. Anna also served as a choreographer for the film, as well as one of the principle writers. Hopefully, she won’t wait another decade to make another movie…
