Alpha House (2013-2014)

The Amazon-produced, Gary Trudeau-written comedy series Alpha House follows four Republican senators—Gil John Biggs (John Goodman), Robert Bettencourt (Clark Johnson), Louis Laffer (Matt Malloy), and Andy Guzman (Mark Consuelos)—who all share the same rental house in Washington D.C. Who knew this was a common practice? The four politicians are trying to survive an election year that’s full of a hungry bunch of Tea Party candidates threatening to take over their comfortable Senate seats. The co-habituating GOP’ers take the potential political upheaval with a grain of salt, providing lots of laughs along the way. Sounds funny? If it’s got John Goodman in it, you know it’s funny. But if you’re looking for some skin from, you’re going to be frustrated. The guys rule this comedy hit. Kate Jennings Grant attempts to heat up the series with a quick look at her rump as she dismounts her dude; Willa Fitzgerald gets nude during an awkward sex montage, but she keeps her good parts hidden; Sofiya Akilova lies naked on the bed, teasing the slightest hint of cheekage; and Julie White and Natalie Gold swap a steamy kiss during a political gathering. Mr. Skin would love to see a spin-off series with these five gals living in the same house. All these near-nude scenes will have you emptying out your tea bag!
