A TV series from the late 70’s that was based in the concept of switching around the dominant gender roles, All That Glitters featured a world where women were the captains of industry and men were househusbands, typists and waiters simply trying to get by on their sexuality. Perhaps unremarkably, this Norman Lear created show was canned after only a handful of episodes, right after an older female cast member was seen in bed with a muscular young black guy. Perhaps the sponsors weren't as enlightened as the show hoped to make them, eh? In a further twist, Linda Grey played a transsexual who used to be a man. A role she could probably pull off much easier these days… Barbara Baxley, Greg Evigan, Eileen Brennan, Jessica Walter and Vanessa Brown starred.
