Splitting her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver, Alison Thornton has been a working actress since the age of 14. Her American psychologist parents immigrated to Canada, and that’s where Alison grew up and started her entertainment career, studying piano and dance from an early age. She officially entered showbiz at the age of 14, acting as Angeline Bennett in the Hallmark movie Let It Snow (2013) with Candace Cameron Bure. She followed that up with another one, The Color of Rain (2014) with Lacey Chabert, then landed the regular role of Zooey in Bravo’s first scripted series, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce from 2015-2018. Shot in Vancouver, it gave Alison the opportunity to take on a side gig as Lydia Spring on the BBC America series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency in 2016, which also filmed in the Canadian city. When she landed the role of Tacy Cassidy in the USA network series Dare Me in 2019, it was only supposed to be for a guest role, but the starlet wound up as a series regular from 2019-2020. A respectable 20 years old during the project, it’s legally and morally okay to ogle her goodies while she’s dressed in Spandex and cleavage-baring workout gear. (Mr. Skin does appreciate Spandex!) Shifting to the big screen, the brunette cutie picked up the role of Tara in The Ray (2022) with Richard Kind, Bethany Forrest in The Mental State (2022), Samantha in Canada’s Guiltless (2022), and Emma in the TV movie Caught in His Web (2022). Mr. Skin loves a good girl-grown-into-woman story.
