After Ever Happy (2022)

The fourth installment in the After universe gives us more of the YA romance between Josephine Langford’s good girl Tessa and Hero Fiennes Tiffin’s bad boy Hardin, picking up right where After We Fell left off - at the wedding of Hardin’s mother (Louise Lombard), who he discovered in the throws of passion with someone other than her husband-to-be. That guy turns out to be Hardin’s bio dad and Hardin’s unhappiness at this news puts a huge rift in he and Tessa’s relationship, as he goes off to sulk in London and she returns to the Pacific Northwest to find her own father dead in her apartment. When Hardin finds out, he rushes to Tessa, but she's pissed about being ignored. There are some flashbacks throughout all this on-again-off-again plot and some steamy sex scenes when the duo is definitely “on,” though Josephine keeps her lacy bras in place so we only get a hint of cleavage and a close up of her underwear as she removes some black tights. Hopefully we’ll be in for more skin after this!
