Okay, there’s something to be said for the little independent films and their complete lack of interest in censors and PG-13 or R ratings. Sure, they can be a little weird sometimes, and you may have to do something like read the movie, but then there’s nudity. And that’s where Lindsey Normington comes in, with her role as Lee in the indy video short Sandbagger, released in 2019. It’s a series of dream sequences, and revolves around an evolving relationship between two women…and there’s no sound, due to the director losing all the sound files when his computer fell of his desk, and just going for it anyway. So you have to read while watching Lindsey in action. And during that action, you see glimpses of her figure, and then you see it all. In one of those dreams, her bra and panties are cut off of her so audiences can revel in her full-frontal nudity (fully shaved, btw). Naked friends smear swatches of colorful paint on her with their hands (they are covered in paint, too) and we watch the whole thing happening, in silence. Like Mr. Skin said, a little weird. But there’s skin, so… The lithe young actress has also appeared in the short films Rift and Grey, and in the full-length comedy feature Off Book (2016) as Marcie (still an indie film, just longer). She’s also a theater girl, and starred in the mixed reality play Anti-Gone, which premiered as part of Sundance’s New Frontier Program. Mr. Skin senses there may be more to come from this one—fingers crossed and reading glasses at the ready.
