Honeymoon With My Mother (2022)

Honeymoon With My Mother (2022) is a Spanish comedy that premiered on Netflix in the spring of 2022 and tells the story of a man having the worst stretch of his entire life. Jose Luís (Quim Gutíerrez) is about to get married when his wife to be stands him up at the altar. His mother (Carmen Machi) doesn't want him to lose the money he has already paid for his honeymoon, so she offers to accompany him to the all-inclusive Caribbean resort. While she lives it up and starts to have the time of her life for the first time in a long time, she's also completely oblivious to the fact that her beloved son is in utter misery and his condition is only getting worse as the days go by! This is best exemplified by a scene when mother and son go sit by the pool and Carmen Machi takes down her swimsuit to sunbathe, reveal her spectacular middle age rack, before he yells at her to put her top back on!
