Girlfriends and Girlfriends (2023)

The Spanish lesbian sex dramedy La amiga de mi amiga, or Girlfriends and Girlfriends (2023), blurs the lines between documentary and narrative with a tale of a group of lesbians in their thirties who disconcertingly still behave as if they're in their twenties, jumping into relationships without a second thought. Zaida Carmona co-writes, directs, and stars as a filmmaker named Zaida struggling after a recent break-up with Gabriella (Bea Escribano). Thankfully her old friend Rocío (Rocío Saiz) rides to the rescue in an attempt to get Zaida out of her funk, though Rocío is now dating Lara (Alba Cros), a rival filmmaker to Zaida and one to whom Zaida has always been attracted.

This tangled web only gets more tangled as the film progresses, but the film's nudity game is on point! Leading lady Zaida Carmona goes topless to get ready for a date and later hooks up with a topless Aroa Elvira, while Rocío Saiz bares her breasts while hooking up with Thaïs Cuadreny!
