While the Men are Away (2023)

It’s World War II, and in rural Australia, like many other countries, women are having to take over some of the jobs normally occupied by men while they’re off fighting on the battlefields of Europe and the Pacific. This fictional dramedy series centers on an apple orchard in remote New South Wales, now run by an Italian immigrant named Francesca or “Frankie” (Michela De Rossi) after her husband Harry - supposedly - enlisted. Helping her is an indigenous woman named Kathleen (Phoebe Grainer), and the duo end up being joined by two city recruits from the Australian Women’s Land Army, Gwen (Max McKenna) and Esther (Jana Zvedeniuk). While Frankie and crew try to save the failing farm, Frankie is also trying to keep all of her secrets under wraps, including one that could land her in a prisoner-of-war camp being built right next door by Harry’s sniveling brother Des (Benedict Hardie). She also keeps herself busy by lezzing out with her lover Rita (Ella Scott Lynch) - in bed, among the apple trees, in a public bathroom… just wherever they can! Michela’s moneymaker comes out when they 69 but it’s Ella who bares both boobs and butt. Then Michela gets eaten out by Max, who’s beautiful breasts are seen in the bathtub. Jane also delivers some T’n’A while riding a guy’s hot rod. While the men are away, these ladies will play - with each other’s privates!
