Eyes Wide Shut is filled with hot scenes, so it should come as no surprise that there is also a dream scene. Kubrick's final film was the talk of Hollywood for a variety of reasons, so this dream scene sort of went under the radar. But it's worth looking at! Tom Cruise sits in his office and daydreams about having sex with his wife - his real wife at the time - Nicole Kidman. Imagine seeing that when you close your eyes!
Rosemary's Baby
Is this a dream or is it a vision? Or did it really happen? Mia Farrow has a series of dreams in which she is stripped naked by her husband and then a group of nude people stand around her as the literal devil has sex with her. It's Mia's body double, but we get to check out her big pair!
The Sentinel
Here's another dream-in-a-creepy-apartment scene. The 1977 thriller The Sentinel has one of my favorite dream sequences in film. Cristina Raines plays a model who moves into a New York apartment that she got for a steal. It turns out there might be a reason for that because the place comes with spooky neighbors who won't leave her alone - even in her dreams.
I love this scene. It's so bizarre and the nudity goes on for so long. While our starlet is tossing and turning in her sleep, she enters a dream parlor that is in black and white. This room is filled with people, including a naked Beverly D'Angelo banging cymbals together. Chesty Sylvia Miles is also there to show off her Sentinel suck sacks.
