Uri & Ella (2016)

Poor Uri (Shlomo Bar-Aba), at 60 years old he loses the love of his life, Tami, and becomes a bit untethered in every aspect of his life.  He is a famous and cherished musician in his native Israel, known throughout the region, but is finding himself lost in the world of bachelorhood as a senior citizen.  His solution to this is to become incredibly close to his daughter Ella (Dina Senderson), almost to the point of becoming clingy.  Ella is the typical underachiever in the family, no career goals, no real accomplishments to date, and pretty much lives in the shadow of her famous father.  When she grows closer and closer to her widower father, the pair seemingly become like an old married couple themselves!  Having bitter arguments, ignoring phone calls, growing jealousy at new partners the other begins to date, and so on.  Needless to say, a father and daughter should probably never grow this close, but the tragedy of losing Tami is altering their relationship in unpredictable ways and any woman Uri begins to see wonders if Ella is a threat and Ella's boyfriends begin to wonder why her father is giving them the evil eye at every corner and if their relationship can ever become stronger than the father/daughter bond they both hold so dear!  Uri & Ella might just need to be separated to succeed in life!  Co-creator and star Dina Senderson shines as the adorable Ella and even spends some time in a bra for our viewing pleasure!  Also, the stunning redhead, Avigail Kovari, plays the younger woman in Uri's life and struts around in just a bra for a bit too!
