Born and raised in Nigeria but with a partially Norwegian ethnic background, Toks Olagundoye lived all over the world before settling in Los Angeles and taking up a career in acting. The hottie honey got her start in a couple of films like Brown Sugar (2002) with Taye Diggs and The Salon (2005) with Vivica A. Fox, and showed her sexy self in silky stuff as Mary in the TV series 3 lbs. in 2006. She didn’t really start working steadily, however, until 2010 with guest spots on Law & Order, CSI: NY, Switched at Birth, NCIS, and Prime Suspect. In 2012, she landed the role of Jackie Joyner-Kersee in the Dan Fogelman primetime series The Neighbors, which she played from 2012-2014. From there, she hopped from series to series in both regular and recurring roles. You’ll find the tantalizing Toks in Castle from 2015-2016; the voice of Nanefua in Steven Universe from 2014-2018, as Kemi Talbot in Veep in 2019, the voice of Countess Cleo in Carmen Sandiego from 2019-2021, playing Leesie Janes in Shameless from 2020-2021, the voice of Mrs. Beakley in Duck Tales from 2017-2021, in the role of Professor Fional Ryan in primetime’s The Rookie in 2021, as Teri Grint in Big Shot in 2021, and as the voice of Mel Medarda in Arcane: League of Legends in 2021. She also hung out with Brie Larson for the Netflix movie Unicorn Store (2017), which Larson both directed and starred in; and in Ken Marino’s movie Dog Days (2018), starring fellow hotties Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens.
