Ting is a Thai-American actress who originally came from South Thailand and was born to a Taiwanese father and a Thai-Chinese mother. She grew up all over the place from Thailand to Malaysia and finally the United States where she got very interested in performing arts and entertainment. Thank goodness that she did! She actually studied anthropology at the University of Washington in Seattle, so she was originally very academically minded about studying culture.
