The Female (1962)

A hooker tries to figure out how she got into her current predicament in The Female (1962). Although the film is from Argentina, it takes place in Mexico, where Cora (Isabel Sarli) sells herself on the street to a variety of barbaric men. A hole in the ceiling of her apartment reminds Cora of her past, when she and a white man were assisted by a horse thief on the lam. That event eventually led Cora into a life of prostitution, although it didn't lead star Isabel Sarli into taking her clothes off on camera. Deadlier than the male, indeed...
