The Eddy (2020)

An original Netflix series that follow Elliot, who was at one point in his musical career a renowned jazz musician in his native New York City, but now he finds himself as a ex-pat in Paris, running a small club with a friend, unceremoniously named The Eddy.  As he tries to keep the music flowing for the French jazz aficionados of the city of light, he also must come to terms with a daughter who resents him for leaving her in NYC, a partner who digs them deep financially with the wrong goons of the underground scene, and he make sure that he can keep the doors open.  The series is brought to you by Damien Chazelle, who took home an Oscar for directing La La Land (2016), and is incredibly well done and as music driven as most of his projects to date.  Well the soundtrack is about as sexy as it gets, there isn't much by way of eye candy, outside of a scene of Lada Obradovic in her black bra. Hopefully as the series progresses we get to see some more skin!
