The Polish series Skazana, or The Convict, ran for three seasons in Poland before getting picked up by MAX in the States for its fourth season! Agata Kulesza stars as successful judge Alicja Mazur who is accused of a murder she did not commit. Now in prison, Mazur must fight for survival among many women she personally sentences to prison, while also attempting to get revenge against the crooked people in power who framed her!
If you're thinking this is going to be Polish Orange is the New Black, it's unfortunately not that kind of pink in the clink story! In fact, it took until the fourth episode of the fourth season to get some skin in the game, when Kinga Jasik goes topless for a sex scene on a couch!
