Sisi

Even emperors aren't exempt from Mom meddling in their affairs, a lesson that's demonstrated in the German mini-series Sisi (2009). Cristiana Capotondi stars as Kaserin Elizabeth, also known as "Sisi", with whom Kaiser Franz Joseph (David Rott) falls in love at first sight. The feeling is mutual, but the couple's happiness is impeded by the scheming of Franz's mother, the Empress Sophie (Martina Gedeck). Maybe if Mom could appreciate the alabaster beauty of Cristiana's booblets when she exposes them to a room full of maids, she'd change her tune...
