Shapely Sian Webber is a pretty performer known for her work on Britain’s boob tube. With her clear blue eyes and kissable lips, the UK babe was meant to be on camera. After making her TV debut on the sci-fi series Star Cops (1987), the ambitious ingénue became a small screen staple. Throughout the years, she’s revealed her range on several shows such as the dramas Howards’ Way (1987-1989) and Annie’s Bar (1996); the romantic fantasy Highlander (1995); the women’s prison series Bad Girls (1999); the police procedurals The Bill (2000) and Silent Witness (2019); and the medical sagas Holby City (2013) and Casualty (2020). But the English Rose really rose to fame for her portrayal of Ritchie Scott on the long-running soap opera EastEnders (2005-2020). Of course, every now and then Sian will make a movie, including the Alexandre Dumas-inspired swashbuckler Young Blades (2001) starring Hugh Dancy and Sarah-Jane Potts as well as the R-rated film Intrigo: Death of an Author (2018) with Ben Kingsley and Tuva Novotny. Yet all of these productions fail to spark our interest compared to Gunpowder (2017). Set in 1605, the BBC One miniseries about Guy Fawkes features Kit Harington, Liv Tyler, and Ms. Webber’s flesh! Sian goes full frontal for her role of Lady Dorothy Dibdale, otherwise known as a damsel in distress — and out of dress. As is the case with many historical dramas, the content is cruel. But at least, you can enjoy some mams and muff before it gets too rough.
