Shanty Town (2023)

This Nollywood drama set in a small town in Lagos starts with a woman and her twin daughters trying to escape Nigerian raiders when one of the daughters is killed. We then flash forward eighteen years to the present, when the surviving daughter Inem (Ini Edo) is being released from prison only to return to Shanty Town where she worked as a prostitute for the community’s leader, the ruthless drug kingpin, Scar (Chidi Mokeme). There we meet the other sex workers, like Nancy Isime’s Shalewa, trying to pay off their debt and earn their freedom, while Scar and the Governor secretly plan to take down Scar’s boss, a politician named Chief Fernandez (Richard Mofe-Damijo). Nancy and Ini are both stripped down to their bras but then Nancy (or her body double Best Marshal) goes the extra mile when her bare boobs and thonged butt cheeks get a thorough once over from the Chief and one of this goons. It’s true what they say, Best is Breast!
